Technical Specifications of the Reducing & Metering Station 250/60-1000
This is a
TBS reducing station mostly used at the entrance gas pipelines of small towns and villages. Depending on the location of installation it can be manufactured in flat and cabinet types. The flat type has an
axial flow valve and a
shut-off valve that can be replaced with a slam
shut-off regulator. In the cabinet type only one slam
shut-off regulator can be installed on each line due to its low space. Drawing of this station is generally designed as bilinear (double line) each line having the ability to pass 1000m3/h of gas. The station's specifications are as follows:
• Inlet pressure: 150-250psig (10.2-17bar)
• Outlet pressure: 60psig (4.08bar)
• Size of inlet pipe: NPS = 2" (nominal pipe size)
• Size of outlet pipe: NPS = 3"
• Capacity: 1000m3/h
•
Meter type:
turbine G65
• Connection: flanged
• Radiography: 100%
• Designing pressure: 280psi
• Testing pressure: 420psi
• Designing temperature: -10 to +60 °C
• Class: ANSI 150 for the outlet, ANSI 300 for the inlet
• Standards of designing, manufacturing, and testing: ASME CODE SEC VIII, API 1104, ASME B 31.3, ASME CODE SEC IX,…
• Shape of station: double line
• Capacity of each line: 1000m3/h
